Location: The Bahamas is a country consisting of an archipelago of islands and cays located in the Atlantic Ocean, southeast of the United States and north of Cuba. It is part of the Caribbean region.

Capital: The capital city of the Bahamas is Nassau.

Language: The official language of the Bahamas is English.

Population: As of my last update in September 2021, the population of the Bahamas was around 400,000 people. Please note that population figures might have changed since then.

Government: The Bahamas is a parliamentary democracy and a constitutional monarchy within the Commonwealth of Nations. The head of state is a monarch (as of 2021, Queen Elizabeth II), and the head of government is the Prime Minister.

Economy: The economy of the Bahamas is heavily reliant on tourism, offshore banking, and financial services. Its beautiful beaches, clear waters, and vibrant marine life attract visitors from around the world. The country has been working to diversify its economy and reduce its dependence on a single industry.
