Population: As of my last update in September 2021, Azerbaijan's population was around 10 million people. Please note that population figures might have changed since then.
Government: Azerbaijan is a presidential republic. The President is both the head of state and the head of government. The legislative branch of the government is the National Assembly.
Economy: Azerbaijan has a mixed economy that heavily relies on its oil and gas resources. It is one of the leading oil-producing countries in the region. The country has been working to diversify its economy beyond the energy sector, focusing on sectors like agriculture, tourism, and technology.
